” My father started preparing me for independent life at the age of 10»

I was born in a small village in Eastern Sweden. We lived literally in the woods, and there were only a few other houses around us. All my childhood was spent with my father, I grew up in the woods and did not even go to school. My father started preparing me for independent life when I was only 10 years old. Even then I knew that soon I would have to leave home and go somewhere I didn’t know where. In Eastern Sweden, it is customary for children to leave their parents ‘ home as soon as they reach a certain age.

At the age of 16, I went to Spain, where I studied at a youth football school for almost a year, after which I returned to Sweden. I even took a year off from the local biology College, but I found Sweden boring, so I moved to Norway and got a job. I worked with children suffering from alcohol-related dementia, and it was interesting, but quite difficult work. It was there that I realized how important it is to live and do what you want.

After a year in Norway, I decided to change my life a little. On the Internet, I found an offer to sell a small bar in Thailand. At that time, after a year of working in Norway, I had enough savings to buy it, so I did not hesitate to go to Thailand. I paid $15,000 for the business and it was a cool place, there was an apartment on the second floor, so I lived right there. I loved doing it, but a year later I sold the bar and went traveling.

” Freedom is to fall asleep and Wake up with a smile on your face»

After that, I farmed in the Philippines, in Central America. I’ve traveled a lot. I have visited more than 70 countries in 12 years. I like to train myself by traveling the world and studying people’s lives, their way of life and traditions. In General, I believe that travel is the best school in life. Even as a child, I realized that I didn’t have to study to live in this world. And even if you don’t have much, you travel and look at other people, many of them have nothing at all, some of them live so poorly that you begin to realize how much you really have.

Kalle — the traveller from Sweden

I don’t want to stop traveling, but at the same time I want to have a place to go back to. I have not had a home for 12 years, so I would like to find a quiet and peaceful place and open a hostel there, grow vegetables and fruits there, so that guests can pick whatever they want from the garden at any time. And I would like to help people with disabilities, so that they can come to us and learn to grow vegetables and fruits, so that they have a job. I’ll probably go to Central America and make my dream come true in Nicaragua. I was there and I really like this country and the people who live there.

” Russians drink very nicely!»

I also want to buy a small boat and travel in it around Central America. It is even possible to earn money by trading. In Nicaragua, for example, cocoa is very cheap, but in Cuba it is very expensive, so trading there is a good way to pay for the trip. A small boat can be purchased there inexpensively, prices starting from $3000.

I love to travel, for me this is one of the manifestations of freedom. Do what you want, go where you want. Listen to yourself, your stomach. Yes, freedom is the ability to listen to your stomach. I also consider people who Wake up with a smile and fall asleep with a smile to be free.

What do I know about Russia?

I have been to Russia and traveled around the country, so I know a lot about it. Very positive and friendly people live there. There are huge buildings, everything is huge! I was struck by the fact that the trains arrive and depart at the minute, I have never seen such a thing. I liked the drinking culture in Russia. When I traveled by train, I was often invited to the table. So, Russians drink very nicely, they set the table, cut sausage, bread, cucumbers, and then they start drinking, eating in between. I also saw wild horses near Ulan-Ude. It seems to be the only place in the world where wild horses are found.
